The Second Annual Misquamicut Fallfest. Friday September 14th from 5 PM through Sunday September 16 at 5 PM at the Misquamicut State Beach in Westerly, RI will include an Outdoor International Food Court, Rockwell Amusements with Ferris Wheel and major rides, Circle K petting Zoo, Pony rides, fireworks, Martial Arts Demo, Police K-9, two Classic Car Shows, Magic Shows, Fire Juggling, local and more
Beer and Wine Garden with entertainment and Pondfire will be held. A fireworks display will kick off the celebration on Friday night. New this year, Chamber of Commerce YPN Golf Ball Drop and Fallfest After Dark: four area nightclubs will keep the party going with entertainment after the festival closes. The Hartford Marathon Foundation will present the Surftown Half, a half Marathon that will begin and end Sunday Morning at Fallfest. Admission is $7. Children 4 and under are free. Parking is free.

Food, Beer, Wine & Shopping:
Over 20 New England food vendors will be on hand to provide regional delights from chowder and fritters to sausage and peppers, fried dough, seafood, kettle corn and other great dishes. In addition, over 30 crafters and commercial vendors will sell their wares. From Henna Tattoos, hair wraps, face painting, handbags, T-Shirts, coin jewelry, and house wares. There is something for everyone in the family as you stroll the aisles. The Beer & Wine Garden on the Salt Pond at Paddy’s Beach will feature local craft beers and great wines with continuous entertainment and evening Pondfire.
Great Live Music -Includes James Montgomery:
Headliners under the spacious Newport Fed Music Tent will include Jeff Pitchell and Texas Flood with James Montgomery Friday night. When blues legend James Montgomery plays the harmonica, he "brings it on home". Whether it's recording with Kid Rock, sitting in with Gregg Allman, or fronting his hot band of thirty years, Montgomery plays with authority. While growing up in Detroit he learned first-hand from the masters - James Cotton, John Lee Hooker, and Jr. Wells - at the legendary "Chessmate." Over the years, he's carried on in the tradition and continues to be a vital presence in Blues as one of the most dynamic performers on the scene.
On the midway “Rockwell Amusements”; known for their World Class Rides such as the Ferris Wheel with its panoramic view of Misquamicut , Scrambler, Thrill rides, Kiddie rides of all kinds for all ages and Games. Half of the State Beach parking lot will include rides for all ages that are state of the art. “Circle K Petting Zoo” will offer children interaction with animals and Pony Rides. Little ones can enjoy a special obstacle course with “Kids on the Go”. Each Day on the Westerly Hospital Stage Two you can see magicians, reptiles, music and more!
Classic Car Shows:
Classic Car Shows will be held Sept. 15 & 16, rain or shine.
On Saturday, Sept. 15 from 11am-4pm, the show will take place with CruisinBruce Palmer from 100 FM The Pike.
On Sunday, Sept. 16 from 11am-2pm, the show will take place with DJ THE DOC.
People's Choice Awards and prizes. There will be a cruise of the area after the show each day.
Drivers and passengers receive free admission to festival.
FallFest After Dark:
The fun does not end when Fallfest is over each night. Fallfest After Dark is a new feature to the event. Festival goers age 21 and over can purchase a wristband, which with a Fallfest admission stamp is only $5, and without is $10. This will gain access to all four nightclubs at Misquamicut, namely Paddy’s, The Andrea, Sandy’s Lighthouse and The Windjammer. Each venue will have great entertainment including DJ’s and Bands. Transportation to and from each venue by limo will be provided free of charge!
